Children angelically asleep in bed- check.
Husband away and happily playing poker- check.
Kitchen cleaned- check.
Dog fed- check.
Laundry folded- check.
Chat with parents- check.
Cleverly embark on breakfast prep for upcoming busy morning- check.
Make amazingly delicious organic strawberry ice cream, consume (small) portion drizzled with chocolate sauce, throw on pj's, cuddle up with book and read until state of drowsiness sinks in- check.
It's been a great week. And bright and early tomorrow, the Monterey Bay Aquarium awaits us, which I'm certain will include several remarkable blog-worthy moments and/or photo documentation for disclosure.
